Interchangeable Pearl Bead Clasp Giveaway

Interchangeable Pearl Bead Clasp GiveawayFashion trends come and go. Tribal? So last year. Bib collar? Yawn. Neon? If you’re 14… But, pearls? Pearls are one jewelry box staple that last! Ever since Coco Chanel revolutionized the fashion industry by irreverently adding ropes of gleaming pearls to every ensemble, women with fashion sense have known that pearls are always a wonderful choice. And, every woman I know owns at least one strand – whether it’s hers, her mother’s, or even her grandmother’s. Recently I learned about a new and exciting way to update your pearl strands.  The newest creation to take the jewelry industry by storm is a Interchangeable Pearl Bead Clasp designed by Janet Grillo, CEO of Kenzie Mac Beth Designs.

One day, Grillo could not decide whether to wear her pearl strand or her Pandora bead necklace.  And, voila! A simple question inspired an amazing creation – combine the two!

In designing the Pearl Bead Clasp, her intention was to transform an elegant strand of pearls to an “elegant-casual” strand with interchangeable expressions of color. Her sterling silver clasps turn a simple pearl necklace into a stunning statement piece by featuring beautiful Murano glass beads (which you probably already own!).

Interchangeable Pearl Bead Clasp Giveaway

Instead of wearing the clasp in the back, simply turn it to the front to accent your pearl strand.  Now you can glamorize your pearl strand with your favorite Murano glass bead.

The Pearl Bead Clasp is easy to use – simply twist and lock into place. A (patent pending) spring-loaded mechanism keeps your pearls safe and your bead attached. The Pearl Bead Clasp allows you to switch out colorful glass beads from Pandora, TrollBeads, Chamilia, Whimsy and others – and match every outfit!

Personally, I am a very vocal fan of the Murano glass bead trend. I have a Trollbeads necklace, a Chamilia bracelet and a Whimsy ring. And of course, I love to change my beads to match various outfits. But, the sterling silver pieces were all so casual, they didn’t work with anything except ordinary ensembles. Now, I can use my Murano beads with a Pearl Bead Clasp to accent every outfit – from my favorite little black dress to a pair of jeans and a tailored white shirt!

Kenzie Mac Beth Designs offers many different options, depending on your personal style and budget. For example, you can order the “Pearl Bead Clasp” (Sterling Silver) alone, which you attach to an existing strand of pearls. The clasp must be attached by a jeweler, but once attached, you can change beads forever. This option also includes one beautiful Murano glass bead. Retail $150.

Or, you might opt for the Classic Pearl Necklace (1st image above). This necklace is 18” and has a 7.0 x 6.5 mm Saltwater Cultured Pearl Strand of AAA gem quality pearls, plus the sterling clasp, and a lovely Murano glass bead. Striking! Retail $650.

My personal favorite is the 18” Freshwater Keshi Pearl Necklace (2nd image above). For me, freshwater pearls just have a trendier feel than the traditional, round pearls.  The variegated shapes also make a lovely contrast to the colored bead accents. The Keshi Pearl Necklace includes 18” of freshwater pearls, the “Pearl Bead Clasp” (already attached) and one Murano glass bead. Retail $295.
